    • Answer Hi HomeBuyer. Good question. The Light Settings in the Ring app let you control when your spotlight comes on. You can toggle off motion-activated lights if you do not want the spotlight to come on, even at night. The Ring Spotlight Cam Plus offers color night vision. Color Night Vision adds color to video in low light for improved clarity and motion detection. With the feature turned off, your Ring device will show video captured at night in black and white. However, real battery life is dependent on a number of factors, such as local weather, the number of events captured, and the frequency of activation. You only need one battery for your Spotlight Cam to work properly. However, if you want extended battery life or don't want to experience any downtime charging the battery, a second battery is available for purchase.     • Answer Not sure what the customer is asking. We have 5 Ring Spotlight Cameras located near access points (e.g. front door, side gate, rear door) and they pick up any activity within the set up zone. They provide us with a good feeling of security and protection. Hope this helps.

This device works off a motion detection record feature, if the device detects motion it then start to record. With all of our Ring devices a Ring Home Plan is required for any video recording feature.     • Answer It’s very easy to install. You just need a screwdriver, the holes are preset. Since it’s outside you might need to use a powered one. I literally borrowed one from a neighbor. It took about 5 minutes.
