“Can you hardwire a battery Spotlight Cam Plus Battery powered unit to make it electric? Someone told me you could open the Spotlight Cam & there are 2 connections points in the unit to connect wires.”

Hi SRWSLV. Good question. Yes, the Ring Spotlight Camera Plus Battery device offers multiple power options. It uses a rechargeable battery pack (one included; holds up to two). It can also be powered with an optional Ring Solar Panel, a Ring Plug-in Adapter, or a Ring Hardwired Kit (all sold separately). Visit our support center for additional details.
