I have 4 Ring spotcams with solar panels. I do not have a Ring Doorbell or Ring hub. You need a solar panel for each spotcam. I would say you would not need a hub from Ring or even a hub as mine work awesome. Best wireless camera on the market. Solar panel works great. Yay make sure it gets the right amount of sun. I buying 2 more but the range is awesome and so is clarity. I wouldn’t buy any other outdoor camera.
