Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The battery cameras can be mounted with 4 small screws. So you can put it any where. If you use the plug in camera you need an A/C outlet near by. I believe there is the option to hardwire like you would a normal spot/flood light. I am looking into a hardwired camera.

There are two types of cameras, battery-powered (comes with rechargeable battery) or hard-wired (will have to connect wires directly to power). You can also purchase solar power panels and give them power that way.
