They say 9ft high mounting covers 30ft out for motion detection but I don't recommend these cameras at all. The camera itself could see a decent distance but the picture was trash. Id say for a clean picture, if the cameras worked correctly, 50-100'. Check out my review and maybe check the Arlo Pros.

At 5 to 7 feet from the ground, your Spotlight Cam can cover a wide visual area, as well as capture HD video of visitors' faces. When Spotlight Cam is mounted too high, it often gets angled sharply downwards. This can work if you're only looking to detect motion in a very small area, but more often than not results in not detecting approaching visitors or capturing the top of heads when the motion sensors are triggered.
