• My best advice is to get a generator. I personally prefer the electric with a cord, and backup with a generator.

• Hi Kackelbird, The Ring Spotlight Cam Wired does not have a back up battery. The Spotlight Cam Wired plugs into standard power outlets to give you non-stop power, so you’ll never need to charge a battery.
