Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi SSR! We've got you covered. The motion-activated camera will capture the video of them walking up to your Ring device if it ever gets vandalized or taken. You can then use that video as evidence to file a police report. If you ever need a free replacement due to this, we will require the police report, the video clip and the stolen unit's MAC ID., but then will gladly offer a replacement. Learn more about what to do if your Ring device is ever stolen http://bit.ly/2wny9zb. As always, feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It can be cut if the intruder can reach it. I have mine mounted above my garage door. I needed a 10 foot ladder to get up to install it. I also have the cord running through the wall, and into my attic so that there is very little exposed to be cut even if they did get up There.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can put vent this by installing it at least 9 feet off the ground so someone cannot reach it easily and also have it wired at that height so that no wire is extending below where is mounted.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Of course it can be cut, but in the process of cutting the intruder would have triggered the motion and you Would have been alerted. If you had a subscription you would then review what has been recorded in the cloud. To prevent damage to the cam, higher placement or hiding any slack would be required.
