“I have 2 wired security cameras installed at my house and wanting a 3rd installed at a different location. As long as there’s a WiFi connection I should be able to access it on my existing app correct?”

You absolutely can do that. I have 5 of those Ring cameras at my property but last time when my parents were on the trip with me I took 2 from my home and brought to their home, connected to their Wifi and voila I can monitor 2 separate properties.
