Hi. We appreciate the time you have taken to ask this question. Yes, the Ring Battery Doorbell and Ring Indoor Cam can work with a dual-band router. The Ring Battery Doorbell and Ring Indoor Cam require an 802.11 b/g/n wifi connection at 2.4 GHz and a minimum upload speed of 2 Mbps for optimal performance. If your 2.4 GHz band and 5 GHz band share the same wireless network name (SSID), we recommend reaching out to your internet service provider to change the name of your 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands so you can tell them apart easily. This will allow you to select the 2.4 GHz band during the in-app setup process. If any additional information is needed regarding your question, please reach out to our community.
