Hi Edgar. Thank you for your question. The Ring Indoor Cam in designed to be powered from a micro USB power adapter included with the camera. While the Ring Battery Doorbell does run off a battery it is designed to be able to receive power from a standard doorbell circuit to extend the battery life, if hardwired to that circuit. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There are two types of cameras, on is battery that requires to be charged every week or so depending on movement activation. And one that is strictly just to be straight hard wired.
