Hi Ciara. Thank you for asking! The Ring Stick Up Cam is designed for both indoor and outdoor use and contains two USB power supplies in the box. One is for indoor use and one is for outdoor use. When installing, ensure that any connected cables have been routed through the bottom cover. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not sure what exactly you are asking, but for our installation the power cord plugs into the back of the camera's power port (remove the top rubber hole plug on the back). I also removed the bottom rubber hole plug to use the screw in mount socket so I could use the mount on the back of the camera instead of the bottom (put the rubber hole plug into the bottom screw hole socket after you remove the mount to keep the camera waterproof). We then ran the power cord down the side of the wall/building where we mounted the camera and plugged the wall wart power supply into an outdoor GFCI electric outlet to power up the camera. If you need a longer power cord the camera cones with an extension for the power supply. It's all spelled out in the manual that came with the camera or go to Ring's website to see install videos. Good luck with your installation.
