“Can I turn this camera on and off from my Ring app? For example, if I am home, I do not want it to give me notifications when I myself am walking around the room. I only want a notification of movement when I am NOT home. Is this possible?”

yes you can turn it off. you can go into settings and change them. You can have it set for being at home mode,and being away mode which will turn it on for you

Please try again later.Hi Ari, Yes, all aspects of your Ring Stick Up Wired Camera are managed via the Ring app. Within the app on the Device Settings page you will have a few different toggles. These toggles control the Motion Detection and Motion Alerts on your camera. Turning the Motion Alerts toggle to the off position will stop notifications to your smartphone. When it comes time to leave your home you can easily toggle this setting back on, and you will receive a notification if motion is detected.
