You can record selected clips to your phone if you want at least in the first 30 days, such as we do. After that, Im not sure, you may need to get cloud space or something.

Without a Ring Protect Plan, you can still view real-time video for Ring doorbells and cameras and answer general motion and doorbell notifications when they happen, but you don't get video recordings of those events.
