“I don't have a current door bell at all no connections or nothing.....my question is if I also buy the ring chime will that be as a acting doorbell sound an also if I buy this doorbell an the chime box is that all I need because I'm not doing the wiring”

Hi Jaye, Thanks for reaching out. Yes, you are able to use a battery operated Ring device, this requires no pre-existing wires. Additionally, Ring Chime is a wireless notification device that can connect to all of your Ring devices. Simply plug it into a wall socket, connect it through the Ring app and you'll get Ring notifications anywhere in your home, even if you're not near your phone.
