A:Answer Yes you can. You can connect it to an existing doorbell, or you can install it and use it by itself. If you have Amazon Alexa, when someone rings the doorbell Alexa can alert you that someone is at the front door, and you'll also receive a notification from the Ring mobile app. If you have a doorbell, you can connect the Ring to the doorbell, and when someone presses the button, it rings your doorbell like normal. We did not go that route, so we have our normal doorbell and the Ring doorbell installed next to each other. Both work independent of each other.
