“We currently have a ring doorbell camera we purchased at Best Buy we just switched over to Spectrum and the ring device will not connect up with the wifi network. Is the model 2 not compatible with 5g router? Is the new model compatible?”

The Ring Video Doorbell 3 requires an 802.11 b/g/n wifi connection at 2.4 GHz and a minimum upload speed of 2 Mbps for optimal performance. The Ring Battery Doorbell Pro is compatible with an 802.11 b/g/n/ax wifi connection at 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz and requires a minimum upload speed of 2 Mbps for optimal performance.
