Our optional Ring Protect Plans offer additional video storage features, for those who want them, starting at $3/month (per Ring device). The Ring app gives you the power to control how long Ring devices record events, even if you don't respond to notifications. By lowering or raising your video recording length you can choose a longer time to see more of each event or less recording time in order to preserve battery life. Answered ring and motion alerts are recorded until you end the video. The video recording length for unanswered can be set from 15 seconds up to 120 seconds.
