Yes you definitely need WiFi. But.. ‘Ring’ will be on a different configuration than the rest of the products in your home. you also have to make sure your router is configured correctly. Your provider can do this remotely. ( you can do this) if you have several WiFi products in your home, Contact your WiFi provider ..Also. Be considerate of where you place ring. Visibility is limited.
