A:AnswerThey have anchors and directions including for brick and cement. If you install properly it shouldn’t be a problem. Ring also has stated they will replace, free if Stanley, however i encourage you to read the fine print of that promise
Good luck! Love my device!
A:AnswerNo, there is nothing in the instructions saying to do so. It would simply bypass the battery if you wanted to hard wire it. We use the battery and it’s been fine once we adjusted how far it picks up motion.

A:AnswerHi renata,
Ring Video Doorbell is weather resistant. Ring Doorbell will work in freezing temperatures and is resistant to rain water, however we do not recommend that you submerge your Ring Doorbell in water. Operating temperatures for Ring Doorbell are -5 - 120°F (-20 – 50°C).

A:AnswerYes. The Ring Video Doorbell connects to existing doorbell wiring or runs off the built-in rechargeable battery. It will work wheter you have had an existing door bell or not.
A:AnswerIf you use your app, you can set the range of how much detection/motion your ring picks up and that should take care of that. Or... trim the bushes back a bit if what I suggested does not work because yes it will pick that up as motion but setting up a perimeter on the ring device will work. I had the same issue but when I pulled back the motion range a bit, it stopped completely. Hope this helps you out.
A:AnswerHi Inkie101,
It depends entirely on the lighting and environment, but they have been tested to a maximum output of near 1.5W. Please feel free to connect with me directly to discuss this further: [email protected]
