Yes. I had no issues. You may want to try using your phone to set up the device while turning off your cellular.

Also, if you have some security protocols through the internet it may be blocking it. For example I have eero mesh network and the security protocols block many links and sites.

I also have Spectrum, and they will guide you through Wi-Fi set up. You may need the Ring Extender if its to fsr away from the modem. The Spectrum Modem and Wi-Fi work great if they are set in a high location.
