Hello jel541, Great question. The Ring Video Doorbell Pro 2 requires a hardwired connection, and a transformer that ranges at 16-24VAC, 50/60HZ. If you connect the Ring Pro to your hardwired connection, it may ring your original chime. For wiring help and more information, please see our help center article: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036047831-Physically-Installing-your-Ring-Video-Doorbell-Pro. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I only have one location that my doorbell rings and it rings in that location, and it does ring the same chime as before. There is a adapter you can buy if you would like to change the chime to something different. Alexa also alerts me that someone is at the door when the doorbell is rung.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
