Yes. I used it to listen to mp3s from a USB. This thing switched to the USB when I plugged it on the driver side USB slot, but not on the other side. However, the swivel is very good, so you can probably place it in a convenient way. The track order and selection may be challenging. It seemed to search the pendrive for any mp3 and played them in the order it found. I used for audiobooks. I created a folder for each book in the order I wanted to listen to them (book1, book2, book3, etc) and this worked. It played all the tracks in alphabetical order inside each folder.

If you have a device enabled with bluetooth, mp3, ipod, smartphone etc, this will use that bluetooth through your car speakers using FM frequency. This links to your device's bluetooth and easy set up.
