As long as you have the 3/8 to 1/4 adapter you can. I have had my guitar hooked to it, I have had my mixer hooked to it, as long as you have a stereo or mono output, and the means to adapt it to the 3/8" mic input, it will work.

You should look up "audio interfaces". They are designed for mics and instruments so you can plug into your computer. Such as Focusrite 2i2. That is most likely the type of device you are looking for. There are lots of reviews online. :)
