• It is a little thick so depending on how you are running it you may have bumps in your carpet. I was lucky enough to have enough room between the bottom of my molding and where my carpet goes in to be able and sneak the cable right in to hide it. Also if you ever have an issued with a cable going bad tearing up that carpet to rest won’t be ideal.

• That's exactly how I have my speaker wires ran. UNDER the carpet. I have had NO TROUBLES. It's been installed this way for the past 3 months. You should have no problem.
