Q: QuestionRECORD PROBLEMON MY INSIGNIA 42"TV,WHEN I INSTAL ADISC, IT WELL SHOW ON THE SCREEN.MY PROBLEM IS I CAN NOT RECORD ON THE DVD OR VCR.

• A:Answer HDMI has copyright protection called HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Copyright Protection). If the video going to the VCR/DVD recorder is via HDMI, the signal will be blocked and you will record a black screen. The only way to get around this is to use a component or composite cable (maybe s-video also?). Therefore, this is not fault of the cable necessarily, it's an issue with HDMI protection in general.

• A:Answer This cable is NOT certified for HDMI2.1. I learned two things on this matter. 1; if the cable is rated for 8k, it is certified for HDMI 2.1. 2; sometimes cables are not labeled for HDMI 2.1 but are still certified non the less. Go with a cable rated for 8k and your good.

• A:Answer The Fire Stick has a male HDMI connector, so it is designed to plug directly into an HDMI port on your TV, no cable required. If you want to extend the Fire Stick away from the back of your TV in a more accessible location for some reason, you would need a female-to-female HDMI adapter between the Fire Stick and an HDMI cable such as this Rocketfish cable. (Although this cable would be overkill if you don't need to run the cable inside of a wall--any 4K rated cable would work on any Fire Stick).

• A:Answer Sure can. I did some research for you and it states that the original ps4 can pass through HDR. Only the ps4pro can do both HDR and 4k as well. Youll notice the difference when with the HDR cord when you first play a game, it should automatically change over to HDR. Atleast thats what my tv does. Speaking of, make sure your tv is HDR compatible as well.

Q: QuestionI am trying to hook one end of the hdmi cable to the port in back of the tv, and other end to the dvd player. But there is only one port in back of tv . I have to first unhook the cable that goes to the cable box. Right?

• A:Answer Your dvd player or cable box should have an HDMI in and HDMI out spot. This is called HDMI passthrough. You will hook your dvd player hdmi into the HDMI in spot on the cable box and then run a HDMI cable from the HDMI out on the cable box to the HDMI port on your tv.
