Will this work with 50 ft. HDMI connected to tv? null

I use one with 75 foot hdmi cable with no problem.

It should work. But you get better reception using shorter cables. I suggest spending a little extra money to get a high end cable. If it supports 4K, make sure your cables are compliant.
