Using with Comcast I bought the splitter and a SONY Blu Ray player to allow me to switch between TV and player. The Comcast sign dosen't seem to come through. What am I doing wrong?

If you are just trying to have 2 signals (Comcast & Blu Ray player) go into one tv, I don't think you need this splitter. This splitter is used to split one signal to 2 tvs. Or, at least that's what I'm using it for. Most newer tvs have multiple inputs where you should be able to plug both items directly to the tv, then you can switch between tv and player by using the input button on your tv remote. If the tv doesn't have enough inputs available, you may be able to plug the Comcast into the Blu Ray and then plug the Blu Ray into the tv. If I have misunderstood your question, I apologize.

This is a splitter not a switch. Get a switch.
