“HDMI splitter is not working with two HDTVs I have two Isignia tvs. One has resolution of 1080p and the other has the same or 1080i. It's properly set up; however, only one tv shows video (i have both on and connected). For cable box, I have time warner. I have tried switching the outputs from 1 to 2 for both to see if that would work, but no success.”

TW wants their money. They don't allow you to split their signal unless you pay, nice guys! The splitter will allow you to stream video to two TVs from a DVD or Blu Ray player but not from the cable Co. Sorry.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The RF-G1182 uses the EDID (Extended Display Identification Data) for the display connected to Output 1. You must connect the Display with the lowest resolution capability to Output 1 to allow the device to work correctly. Make sure you unplug the TVs, splitter, and cable box when connecting the HDMI cables. Once everything is connected correctly and the devices have been without power for 30 seconds, plug the cable box in, once the box is booted up plug the splitter in, and finally plug both TVs in.
