“Is anyone using a DIRECTV HR24-500 (3D capable) and two 1080P TV's? I download a 3D movie from a DIRECTV channel. The 3D movie would be sent from the DVR to one 1080P non-3D and one 1080P 3d capable unit. Has anyone had success using this type of setup?”

The Rocketfish doesn't support 3D. Try a Monoprice 1X2 PRO Series Powered HDMI Splitter with 3D support.
