“HDCP issues with this splitter? Been using this splitter for about a month on a 2008 Philips TV and a 2011 Sceptre. Now all of a sudden I'm getting a message about content protection on premium channels with either TV. I'm told by Direct TV that this just became an issue in recent weeks when HBO, Encore, etc started to protect their content, even though I'm subscribed. DirectTV is coming out to look at my cable box (it's only a few weeks old); my belief is that their box is defective, since according to them, only TV's prior to 2003 have such problems. Does this splitter cause any issues with HDCP content, even though both TV's are HDCP compliant?”

Splitter is HDCP compliant, most likely it is an issue with the cable box.
