“Can I use the Rocketfish splitter to connect two monitors to my computer? I just purchased a Gateway PC and was told that it supports 2 monitors ... however, there is only one port to plug in a monitor. I have one HDMI monitor and one that is LED ... can I use the splitter to be able to use both monitors ... as if it were one large screen. I want to run two separate programs at the same time.”

• This will not do what you're asking. If your PC has HDMI and VGA ports each can be used to drive a separate monitor without any other hardware.
