“Audio Return Channel (ARC) support missing? Does this device actually support ARC? I have a new Sony LCD TV which I have used ARC to route audio back to my receiver. If I put the Splitter between the receiver and TV on either HDMI output port, I get no more audio back to the receiver, though CEC works. Should this device support ARC? If not, that's a pretty serious flaw in your HDMI 1.4 support.”

Does not support ARC. Will only transmit a signal based on what it sees. If your receiver supports ARC then you would need to use an analog output from the receiver to accomplish want you ar trying to do here. Keep in mind a basic splitter could not possibly have that type of technology. Sorry to say I believe you are expecting too much from a basic unit and should upgrade your source if you want this function. Regards,
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.ARC will not work though a splitter of any kind. This is due to the splitter trying to send data back to the receiver while it is still trying to send data out to both outputs. Also the second output is sending data back to the splitter causing further confusion.
