- Answer its a device that lets you split one signal into two ....the splitter shown is for hdmi to be split.

QuestionI have everything hooked up correctly. I just recently had dish network replace my receiver thinking it was the problem. But it appears not to be. Running through the splitter it can be 15 minutes, 30 minutes or more but the screen will just turn to snow

QuestionWhat do I need to do to connect 2 hd tvs to satellite receiver with multi room viewing. Main tv on 1 channel and bedroom and family room on other. It all worked fine till we bought the new hd tv for living room and tried to connect other hd tv in famil.

QuestionI run windows 10 with two monitors. Monitors 1&2 are HP LP2465's, I want to add a Dell 1907 FPC as a third monitor, Monitor 3 to mirror monitor 2, will this product allow monitor 3 to mirror monitor 2? Monitors 2&3 are HDMI compatible.

QuestionWill this device fry my monitor? I used a previous splitter with my monitor (Asus VG248QE) And it fried the HDMI port to the point where it would no longer display anything. I definitely don't want this to happen again. Trying to split my laptop signal.

- Answer No it should not fry your monitor. I have used this item for over 2 years at my house to split a DirecTv receiver to an outside TV. It has worked beautifully and is still in good shape. I also purchased a 2nd one for a traveling event to split an HD camera output between two computers. So far it has held up to 3 live events, however under this type of application the unit seems a little weak compared to heavy duty options.

- Answer Connect your blu-ray, cable box, and fire stick to your home theater with hdmi cables, connect your home theater (hdmi out port) to your tv. You don't need a splitter.

- Answer I have split off of multiple HDMI sources without issue. If it has an HDMI out it works. I have split off Fios boxes, Direct tv, Dish, Blue ray etc. it always works. I am often setting up a HDMI compatible projector for outdoor viewing. Haven't had a problem yet.

- Answer HDMI does transfer sound and sure this would work as an option but why not use the optical cable to do this? Switch settings in the os to run sound through one or both.

- Answer No, this device is designed to send a signal from one device to two TVs. What you need is the rf-g1185. This product will allow you to connect multiple HDMI devices to a single HDMI port on the tTV.
