The difference is that this cable will pass 18gbps bandwidth which is needed for any full 4K hdr 60fps signals. Meeting all upscaling requirements, Netflix 4K, Amazon 4K, streaming 4K etc. 4K Blu-ray players will play at 24fps but also will upscale normal Blu-ray movies to 4K resolution with this cable.
