“Connecting a cable router Most suggestions seem to instruct you to split off the cable router from where the caber enters the house with a two slitter before you add additional spliter. In fact that was my set up, I had a spliter with 3db going to my router and 7db going to a four way spliter. I was getting error from FIOS TV that it was not getting data input. I move my router to one of the RF-G1179 outputs. It seems to be working. On another output, I had one of two TIVOs connected. I seemed to have been getting too much signal, so I moved that connection to a 7db connected behind the RFG1179, and that seems to be working, Comments?”
