Can this device be connected right before the cable box? Because I have 100ft+ of cable before it reaches the tv. I have one at the beginning, but I think it loses signal over the distance. null

Yes, I attached it right before the cable box, also after a 100ft+ cable run. It eliminated all of my pixelated pictures, and all channels show up very clearly.
 I live in Manhattan, where there are lots of long runs with old coax cables...

Yes, this can be connected before the cable box. The shorter cable going into the input with the long cable to the TV connected to the output.
