• Yes it comes with its own power supply and plugs into the body of the device. Instructions say you can power from an external source through output one but I used the included power supply and the unit works fine.

• Yes it does come with an AC adapter. It plugs into a wall outlet. It plugs directly into the amplifier. A red light on the amplifier comes on to let you know it is getting power.
