It is DC current power. Some components have this feature. Then you would not need to use the included AC adapter. Most components connected to this amplifier do not have DC current flowing thru the coaxial cable connection. The AC plug in is needed then.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you didn't want to use the #1 output, you could just wire it to +12V, positive center to that jack. If you still wanted to use all of the jacks, you'd need a power inserter like a Sonora HRFPI or a Holland HR PI-BW.
