• Out 1/PWR IN is for connecting a component that can provide DC current power. Then you would - not need - the included AC adapter to power this nice amplifier. If your component does not provide DC current by coaxial cable then you can still connect to Out 1 but you would then use AC power with the adapter to power the amplifier. Most components connected by coaxial cable do not have DC power running thru it.
