• It comes with an AC adaptor - you may have thrown it out in the trash. The box is small but the adaptor is in there believe me. If not take it back with receipt and open up the new box with a salesmen before you leave Best Buy. Look I even had to search for the adaptor the way they pack it - it looks like its part of the packing material.

• Yes it has an AC adapter. The connection is on the side where the 12V Input label is.
