Does this cable lock? null

With fiber optic cable the locking mechanism is in the unit, not the cable. But this one did lock in sturdy for my equipment.

No need to lock it. It fits correctly.

Sort of . . . Standard TOSLINK is a friction fit with a 'snap' at full insertion. It can be yanked-out if you tug on the cable hard enough.

There is no specific 'lock' on it, but it lightly clicks into place and feels secure to me.

Once you plug it in push hard and it will lock in place you can actually feel it lock in just remember to in cap the ends.

It clicks into place and easy pull out.

It does lock in place when you plug it into your TV and sound bar.

I don't recall ever encountering an optical cable that locks, but I can tell you that the connector is made with sufficient precision to provide a good connection.
