“The optical -Tos link cable which i have got has square tip with round jack.The square plastic tip does not fit set top box or Home theatre. I have TOS link digital optical cable ,but it has rectangular plastic ends with round tip,The rectangular tip does not fit either Tata HD STB or sony HT.Am i referring to correct cable?”

• I had trouble fitting the cable until I discovered there is a protective cap over the optic plugs. I pulled them off and inserted them into their sockets. It works fine.

• The plastic end is square on one side, and rounded on the other side. The devices should have correspondingly shaped ports, and will fit in once aligned correctly.

• Lol I had the same problem but I discovered that you must remove the plastic protective caps, once I removed them it went right into place.

• The round end on the cable is a plastic protector so that you do not damage the end of the cable in shipment etc.......Simply remove the plastic tip and you will find that the square end fits the Sound bar!...

• When I first tried to use this I couldn't get it to plug in. The cable has a small plastic end cap on each end. You need to remove this and you will see a small round end this is what plugs into the tv and sound bar.

• Are you sure you are putting cable in correctly, will only fit one way, and did you remove plastic clear covers on ends

• You have to remove the plastic ends first, then try inserting.
