I discovered that I was trying to insert it into the plug with the plastic protector caps still in place. Removing the tiny covers allowed it to seat into the plug and work fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There is a plastic cap on the ends. That stumped me at first too. When you take them off its easy, just make sure they're line up right
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Pull milky colored tip covers off ends. Not found anywhere in instruction directions!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need to make sure you have taken the small beads of wax off the ends. If you have already done that you need to find out why they won't fit. Are they touching other cables, the TV, or is there something else in the way? This will cause a problem as the plastic base is kind of wide.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had this problem and when I realized what was going on, I felt pretty stupid. When you first get these cables, there is a little tiny cap on both ends. I don't know its purpose other than to frustrate people who don't know about it. Just grab the very end of the cable, the connector part, and pull hard. The cap will come off and then the cable will simply pop into place. Do this for both ends.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Audi fiber cables with usually have a little play. Just firmly insert but don't try to hulk it in.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. They don't tell you but there are actually plastic protective covers over the end of the optical cable. You have to remove those in order to be able to connect the ends. Hope this helps, I was frustrated at first also until I figured out to remove the caps
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Make sure the end of the cable is turned so that it exactly matches the configuration of the input you are trying to attach it to. You do have to press it in gently but firmly. I was a little too gentle at first, but once you get the feel for it, attaching the other end is not as bad.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. On the ends of the connectors should be little plastic balls. Take those off, everything should snap into place after removing the plastic protectors
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There's a clear plastic covering the tip of the cable. Remove that plastic prior connecting the cable to your devices.
