I have used this bluetooth receiver a lot to send audio via Bluetooth to another device. Typical Bluetooth works 45 to 60 feet away from each other usually needs an unobstructed line of sight. Pair your iPad to the rf-bt319 ,attach rca leads that come with it to an import source on your Bose and you are set. The volume setting on iPad is important for good reception.
