“I have a system with five speakers and a sub. If I plug into a device input - say CD - I don’t get sound. If I plug into an individual speaker, it plays but only on that pair - not the center, rear surround or sub. How do I get sound on all speakers?”

This bluetooth receiver outputs in 2 channel stereo. Depending on the capabilities of the system it's connected to the sound can be mixed to all channels i.e. the 5 channel stereo setting or using Dolby Pro Logic II or DTS Neo... etc.

Remember that you will have to turn the volume up quite a ways on your device such as your cell phone to hear it through your system. Make sure you have selected the correct source also.
