“Is this mount compatible with a Samsung 65 inch 8000 series tv?”

• I am not positive. I would think it is because it has the hard ware to adapt different types of tv's. I used it on a 65 LG

• I have 55 and no problem it is big enough. Only make sure where the TV sits in relation to the mount. It sits about 8 inches lower from the center of the set. It is centered to the mounting holes and not the middle of the TV.
