• The plug is flat (right-angle & off-set) which allows you to place furniture as close as possible to the wall and not block the second AC outlet. David M. - Rocketfish Support

• It's about 1 1/2" (3cm) thickness. You would want to use right angle plugs to keep the total height low if you are placing it under something which would make the total height at about 4-4.5 cm..
