• yes - I used toggle bolts to mount a 39 inch tv and it is solidly mounted to the wall.

• Ya I used 2 drywall anchors and it worked great.

• Wall mounting in any method not described in the manual is not recommended. Improperly installing the wall mount could lead to if detaching from the wall and would not be covered by warranty.
