“Does this mount work with a Samsung - 40" Class 5 Series? I have the mount already and have used it for a 65" samsung which worked fine, but placing it on the back of the 40" it seems too big. Please help. Thanks”

yes this will work for it we have two of these mounts one for 50inch Samsung tv and also 43inch sasmung TV and it works fine for both.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is my understanding that the minimum size of the wall mount in question is 43 inches. You should probably purchase a smaller size.
