Does this mount work for the LG 49UF6900? null

Yes, this product is compatible.

The mount should work for all TVs that are less than 70 inches. Just check that the mount bracket mates up to the back of the TV mounting screws.

It will work for any tv 32" to 70"

I used this mount for my Sony XBR55-800B. It is very well constructed. On your 49" T.V. the swivel arms mount onto the back and then the swivels attach to the wall plate. The swivels have multiple holes in a plate that goes flat against the back of your T.V. and you just put the bolts through the holes that match up. You get a very big assortment of bolts and spacers in various lengths and sizes. If there were any unforeseen issues it would be to get exact correct size and length bolts from a hardware store to mount the swivel arms to the back of your T.V. After that the swivels just hang on the wall plate. On the bolts I do not see you having a problem as in the kit you get an assortment that probably works with about every T.V. on the market and L.G. Samsung and Sony are very similar and the best on the market.
